Who We Are

Just as a solid foundation is crucial to achieve stability, balance and strength in a structure, that same foundation is essential when starting a successful business. Husband and wife team Terry and Cathy Jones established Compass Builders of Florida LLC in 2002 with a strong and varied foundation in both residential and commercial construction as well as interior design.

Armed with a degree in architectural engineering, Terry began his construction career working on large-scale commercial projects, in the U.S. and abroad, ranging from luxury condominiums and country clubs to schools and churches. Cathy holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in interior design, complementing Terry’s building experience.

This integrated approach makes Compass Builders of Florida the best choice for your next project. Terry brings the same technical and organizational expertise used in commercial construction to your project, while Cathy’s eye for design allows us to incorporate custom options that enhance the function and aesthetic appeal of your home or office.
